Description
To provide opportunities for eligible Carers to experience a break by taking over their caring role and providing support directly to the Cared-for-Person, allowing the Carer to achieve their identified outcomes. Outcomes for Carers a) They are able to get a break from their caring role. b) Feel they are supported financially, that is, the cost of the cared for while on a break. c) Feel peace of mind and the confidence of knowing that the person they care for is receiving good quality care and support whilst they are not there. d) Feel supported in their caring role. e) Feel more able to have a life of their own alongside their caring role. f) Feel better able to care and continue in their caring role for longer. g) Feel less stressed and anxious. h) Feel better able to maintain their own emotional and physical health and well-being.
