Description
Walsall Council is seeking Voluntary Sector/ Community led organisations to deliver a locality and community-based solution to support and develop the community, voluntary and faith sector (VCS) within the 4 localities in Walsall: Hub/Lot 1: North Walsall: Bloxwich East and Blakenall Heath, Bloxwich West, Beechdale, Leamore and Reedswood and Harden, Goscote and Ryecroft; Hub/Lot 2: West Walsall: Bentley and Darlaston North, Darlaston South, New Invention, Short Heath and Willenhall; Hub/Lot 3: East Walsall: Pelsall, Brownhills, Aldridge North and Walsall Wood, Streetly, Rushall-Shelfield,, Aldridge Central and South, and Pheasey Park Farm; Hub/Lot 4: South Walsall: Paddock, St Matthews, Palfrey and the Delves and Pleck. The aim of this service is to ensure the voice of the sector is heard within anchor organisations, both in Walsall and beyond. The focus is on supporting and developing local organisations and ensuring effective engagement with anchor organisations. Delivery will be led by providers who have a strong understanding of the local population and a proven track record in fostering collaboration, including volunteering, and working through CVS organisations.
